Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Derby . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of major transportation infrastructure projects.
• Manage project teams, ensuring timely and cost-effective project completion.
• Conduct complex traffic modelling and analysis to support strategic planning and design solutions.
• Develop technical specifications, reports, and contract documents for transportation schemes.
• Represent the company in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee the work of junior engineers and technicians, providing guidance and quality assurance.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering or Civil Engineering with a transportation focus.
• Extensive experience in transportation planning and highway design.
• Expertise in traffic modelling software (e.g., PTV Vissim, SIDRA, Paramics) and design tools.
• Strong understanding of transport policy, planning legislation, and CDM regulations .
• Exceptional leadership, project management, and communication skills.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status is highly desirable.
