Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, including road design, junction improvements, and public transport infrastructure.
• Conduct traffic modeling and analysis to assess network performance and inform design decisions.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and specifications for tender and construction.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful project completion.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities, highways agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their technical and professional growth.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related transportation discipline.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in transportation engineering , with a strong portfolio of project work.
• Proficiency in traffic modeling software (e.g., VISSIM, SIDRA) and CAD packages.
• Strong understanding of DMR, MCHW, and other relevant design standards and guidance.
• Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
