Senior UI Developer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Senior UI Developer to enhance the user interface of their flagship software products from their Wolverhampton office. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into functional, interactive, and visually appealing user interfaces. This role requires a deep understanding of modern front-end technologies and a passion for creating exceptional user experiences. Working closely with UX designers and backend engineers, you will play a key role in ensuring our applications are both beautiful and highly performant, contributing to a team that values quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement user-facing features using modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Translate UI/UX design wireframes and mockups into clean, efficient, and reusable code.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic.
• Perform code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices for UI development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in UI development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Expertise with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Experience with UI component libraries and state management solutions.
• Familiarity with build tools (Webpack, Gulp) and version control (Git).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
