Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior UI/UX Designer to join their innovative digital product team based in Plymouth . This role is crucial for crafting exceptional user experiences and intuitive interfaces across our client's digital products. You will be responsible for conducting user research, creating wireframes and prototypes, and collaborating closely with product managers and developers to translate user needs into engaging and functional designs. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, creating wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define product requirements and user stories.
• Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Present design concepts and rationales effectively to stakeholders and team members.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a UI/UX Designer or Product Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex digital product designs.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and information architecture.
• Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
