Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic digital team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface design for a variety of digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. This role requires a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to translate complex user needs into elegant design solutions. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to deliver exceptional digital experiences that align with business objectives and user expectations, fostering innovation and creativity in a distributed work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process for new digital products and features, from concept to launch, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
• Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights and inform design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to iterate on designs and ensure feasibility.
• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of design excellence.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• In-depth understanding of user research methodologies and usability testing.
• Experience in creating and managing design systems.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively to stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
