Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a talented Senior UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences for their interactive projects in Derby . You will be responsible for the entire user interface design process, from conceptualization and wireframing to prototyping and final asset creation. This role requires a keen understanding of user-centered design principles, a strong visual design aesthetic, and the ability to translate complex requirements into seamless and accessible interfaces. You will work closely with game designers, programmers, and product managers to ensure our products are not only functional but also delightful to use.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for game interfaces.
• Develop visually appealing and consistent UI assets, style guides, and component libraries.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
• Collaborate with game designers and developers to implement UI solutions that enhance gameplay.
• Optimize UI layouts and interactions for various platforms and screen resolutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer , preferably in the games or interactive media industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing UI design, interaction design, and user research methodologies.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or Photoshop.
• Understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centered design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
