Senior UI/UX Designer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join their dynamic team in Aberdeen . Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to execution, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design for web and mobile applications.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive user journey maps, personas, and style guides to ensure design consistency across all platforms.
• Conduct user testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve usability and user satisfaction.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering, to translate requirements into compelling design solutions.
• Champion best practices in UI/UX design and stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in the digital space.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.

Requirements

• Proven track record of 5+ years as a UI/UX Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital product designs.
• Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
• In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvements.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions clearly to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
