Senior UX Researcher (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to lead user research initiatives, operating on a fully remote basis. You will be responsible for uncovering user needs, motivations, and behaviors to inform product strategy and design decisions. This role involves planning and executing a variety of research methodologies, synthesizing findings, and communicating insights effectively to cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative user research studies (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability tests, field studies).
• Identify key user insights and translate them into actionable recommendations for product design and strategy.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research findings into the product development lifecycle.
• Develop research plans and methodologies tailored to project goals and constraints.
• Synthesize research data from multiple sources to create comprehensive user profiles, journey maps, and reports.
• Advocate for the user, ensuring their needs are at the forefront of product development decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UX research or a related field, with a strong portfolio demonstrating research methodologies and impact.
• Proficiency in planning and conducting various research methods, including usability testing, user interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights.
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile environment and collaborating with remote teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field is preferred.
