Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and insightful Senior UX Researcher to join their growing product team in Norwich . You will lead research initiatives to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations, providing critical insights that inform product strategy and design decisions. This role requires a deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate research findings into actionable recommendations. You will play a key role in ensuring our client's digital products are user-centered and deliver exceptional experiences, contributing to a culture of innovation and user empathy in Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and conduct user research studies using a variety of methods (e.g., interviews, surveys, usability testing, card sorting).
• Analyze research data to identify key user insights, pain points, and opportunities.
• Synthesize findings into compelling reports, presentations, and personas for stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to integrate research into the product development lifecycle.
• Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring their needs are met.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the advancement of UX research practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a UX Researcher or User Researcher, with a portfolio demonstrating impact on product decisions.
• Mastery of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment and collaborating with design and product teams.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
