Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly analytical and empathetic Senior UX Researcher to join their product development team in Brighton . You will play a critical role in understanding user needs, behaviors, and motivations to inform the design and development of intuitive and effective digital products. This position involves planning and conducting a variety of research methodologies, synthesizing findings, and translating them into actionable insights that drive product strategy and user satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure a user-centered approach is embedded throughout the product lifecycle, contributing to a culture of data-driven decision-making and user advocacy.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and execute a range of qualitative and quantitative user research studies, including interviews, surveys, usability tests, and contextual inquiries.
• Recruit participants for research studies and manage logistics for research activities.
• Analyze research data to identify key user needs, pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Synthesize research findings into clear, concise, and actionable insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to present research findings and advocate for user needs.
• Contribute to the development of user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts that represent user understanding.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX Researcher , with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of research methodologies and impact.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, data analysis, and reporting.
• Proficiency with research tools and platforms (e.g., survey software, usability testing platforms).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence product decisions.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with remote and in-office team members.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or a related field.
