Senior UX Researcher

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and insightful Senior UX Researcher to join their fully remote product development team. This role is pivotal in understanding user needs, behaviours, and motivations to inform product strategy and design decisions. You will lead research initiatives, employing a range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies to uncover deep user insights. This is a critical role for a dedicated researcher passionate about advocating for the user and driving evidence-based design improvements across our digital products, working from anywhere within a remote-first culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct comprehensive user research studies, including user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic research.
• Analyze research data, identify key insights, and translate findings into actionable recommendations for product and design teams.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and other artifacts to communicate user insights effectively.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and engineers to ensure user-centered design practices are integrated throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Mentor junior researchers and contribute to the continuous improvement of research processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in UX Research , with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of research projects and methodologies.
• Expertise in various qualitative and quantitative research methods and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings clearly to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a fully remote environment.
