About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join their dynamic digital team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and interface design for a variety of digital products, ensuring they are intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing. You'll collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to translate user needs and business objectives into seamless digital solutions, playing a pivotal role in enhancing user satisfaction and driving product success in a collaborative, remote-first environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for new features and products, from initial concept and wireframing to high-fidelity prototypes and final UI design.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and inform design decisions.
- Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and component libraries to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to deliver exceptional user experiences.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the overall design strategy and best practices within the team.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
- Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and interpreting data to drive design improvements.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills, essential for remote teamwork.
