Senior UX/UI Designer

About the Role

Our client, a leading digital agency based in Aberdeen , is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design of intuitive and engaging user experiences for a variety of digital products. You will be instrumental in shaping the visual identity and user journey of client applications and websites, ensuring they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and user-centric. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design process from concept to completion, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive user personas , journey maps, and information architecture.
• Create compelling and user-friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications, adhering to brand guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve designs.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless implementation of design specifications.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the agency's design standards and innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful projects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or InVision.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, and visual design best practices.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions effectively.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies .
