Senior Vehicle Inspector

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and diligent Senior Vehicle Inspector to join their quality control team in Cambridge . This role is essential for ensuring that vehicles meet rigorous safety and quality standards before being dispatched or after servicing. You will conduct detailed inspections, identify any defects, and ensure all compliance requirements are met. Your expertise will contribute directly to maintaining the high reputation of our client's vehicles and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive visual and technical inspections on new and used vehicles.
• Ensure all vehicles comply with regulatory safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
• Accurately document inspection findings, noting any defects or areas requiring attention.
• Collaborate with workshop technicians and management to rectify identified issues promptly.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of inspection processes and quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Inspector , MOT Tester, or in a similar quality control role within the automotive industry.
• Hold a current MOT Tester license (IMI accredited is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of vehicle mechanics, safety regulations, and inspection procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meticulously document findings.
• Excellent understanding of quality assurance principles.
