Senior VFX Artist

About the Role

Our client, a leading force in the arts and entertainment industry , is seeking an experienced Senior VFX Artist to join their innovative team in Sheffield . You will be responsible for the entire VFX pipeline, from concept to final compositing, working closely with directors and technical teams to achieve breathtaking results. Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement high-quality visual effects (VFX) for films, games, and other media projects.
• Collaborate with directors, art directors, and other artists to develop and refine VFX concepts and execution.
• Utilize a range of VFX software and techniques, including particle systems, simulations (fluid, fire, smoke), and compositing.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance and integration into various production pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to VFX creation and implementation.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in VFX technology and methodologies within the entertainment industry.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a VFX Artist or similar role in the film, television, or gaming industry.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Houdini, Maya, Nuke, After Effects, or similar.
• Strong understanding of physics-based simulations, particle systems, and compositing techniques.
• Experience with real-time VFX for games is a plus.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality visual effects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
