Senior VFX Artist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a creative and experienced Senior VFX Artist to join their fully remote team and contribute to visually stunning projects in the entertainment industry . You will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects that enhance gameplay and immerse players in our game worlds. Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and implement visually compelling visual effects (VFX) for characters, environments, and gameplay events.
• Optimize VFX assets for performance, ensuring they run efficiently on target platforms without compromising visual quality.
• Collaborate closely with art directors, game designers, and other artists to achieve the desired aesthetic and narrative goals.
• Develop and maintain VFX pipelines, tools, and best practices to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest VFX technologies and techniques, and propose innovative solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VFX implementation and performance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a VFX Artist in the games or entertainment industry, with a strong portfolio of work.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Houdini, Maya, After Effects, and particle systems in game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Strong understanding of visual design principles, color theory, and animation.
• Experience with shader creation and optimization for real-time applications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
