Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual effects (VFX) for projects, including particle systems, simulations, and shaders.
• Collaborate with directors and art leads to develop and implement the visual style for effects.
• Utilize cutting-edge tools and techniques to achieve realistic and stylized VFX.
• Optimize VFX for performance across different platforms and rendering pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VFX creation and integration.
• Mentor and guide junior VFX artists, sharing knowledge and best practices.

Requirements

• Significant professional experience as a VFX Artist , with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating visually compelling effects.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software such as Houdini , Maya , Nuke , and game engines (e.g., Unreal Engine).
• Strong understanding of simulation techniques (e.g., fluids, destruction, cloth).
• Excellent artistic eye for timing, composition, and colour.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
• Experience with shader writing and optimization is a strong advantage.
