Senior VFX Supervisor

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior VFX Supervisor to lead the visual effects department for major Arts & Entertainment productions in Liverpool . You will be the primary creative and technical point person for all visual effects, ensuring seamless integration of CGI, compositing, and other effects into live-action footage. This role demands a deep understanding of the entire VFX pipeline, from pre-production planning to final delivery, combined with exceptional leadership and communication skills to guide artists and liaise with directors and producers. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the visual effects pipeline , from concept and pre-visualization to final compositing and delivery.
• Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and other department heads to define and achieve the creative vision for VFX.
• Lead and mentor the VFX team, providing technical and artistic guidance throughout production.
• Break down complex shots and sequences, creating detailed work plans and shot lists.
• Ensure the technical quality and artistic integrity of all VFX work, meeting project deadlines and budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with clients and external vendors, managing approvals and feedback loops.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a VFX Supervisor or senior VFX artist in feature film or high-end television.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex visual effects sequences on time and on budget.
• Deep understanding of 3D animation, compositing, rendering, and real-time technologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in industry-standard VFX software and workflows.
• Ability to translate creative ideas into practical and achievable technical solutions.
