About the Role
Our client, a rapidly growing software company based in Norwich , is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Web Developer . You will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust and scalable web applications. This role offers the chance to work on challenging projects, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor a talented development team, all within a collaborative and innovative remote-first culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code across the full stack (frontend and backend).
- Develop user-facing features and ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and database operations.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
- Write unit tests and conduct performance testing to ensure application quality and stability.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in software development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
- Strong proficiency in backend languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java, and associated frameworks.
- Extensive experience with frontend technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
- Solid understanding of database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and designing database schemas.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (e.g., Docker).
- Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
