Senior Well Integrity Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Well Integrity Engineer to join their asset management team in Brighton . This crucial role focuses on ensuring the long-term integrity and safety of oil and gas wells throughout their lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and implementing well integrity management systems, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing inspection and maintenance programs. This is a key position within the Oil & Gas industry , contributing to operational safety, environmental protection, and asset performance in the South East region.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive well integrity management systems (WIMS).
• Conduct risk assessments and identify potential failure mechanisms for wells.
• Plan and supervise well integrity testing, inspection, and intervention programs.
• Analyze well data, including pressure tests, integrity logs, and historical performance.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices for well integrity.
• Provide technical guidance and support to operations and maintenance teams.
• Prepare detailed reports and recommendations on well integrity status and actions.

Requirements

• Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well integrity, completions, or well operations within the Oil & Gas sector .
• Strong knowledge of well construction, completion, and abandonment principles.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards for well integrity (e.g., ISO 16530-1).
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies and integrity management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for collaboration in Brighton .
