About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-oriented Senior Well Operations Engineer to join their team based in Derby . This role is pivotal in ensuring the safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of well completion, intervention, and production operations. You will be responsible for planning and supervising a range of well activities, managing service providers, and optimizing production performance. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and supervise all aspects of well operations , including completions, workovers, and P&A.
• Develop detailed job programs and procedures, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage and coordinate with third-party service companies to ensure efficient delivery of operations.
• Conduct post-job analysis, identifying lessons learned and implementing improvements for future operations.
• Monitor well performance and implement production optimization techniques.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting of all well operations activities in Derby .

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in well operations and completions .
• Proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex well interventions.
• Strong understanding of wellbore integrity , production optimization, and relevant equipment.
• Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential for this role in Derby .
