About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical SEO Specialist to optimize their online presence and drive organic traffic growth. Based in Sheffield , you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, performing technical SEO audits, and monitoring website performance. You will collaborate closely with the content and web development teams to ensure that SEO best practices are integrated into all aspects of the website and digital marketing efforts. This role is crucial for enhancing search engine rankings, improving user experience, and achieving our digital marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for content optimization.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues impacting performance.
- Monitor and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
- Collaborate with content creators to develop SEO-friendly content and with developers to implement technical SEO recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar digital marketing role with an SEO focus.
- Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, on-page and off-page SEO techniques.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
- Experience with technical SEO, including site audits, schema markup, and site speed optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
