SEO Specialist

About the Role

Our client is looking for a data-driven and strategic SEO Specialist to join their marketing team based in Derby . You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings, drive website traffic, and enhance online visibility. This role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, keyword research, and on-page/off-page optimization techniques. Working in a hybrid setup, you will collaborate closely with content creators and developers to ensure our online presence is optimized for search engines and users alike.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
• Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings.
• Monitor website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and generate regular reports.
• Identify technical SEO issues and work with the development team to implement solutions.
• Stay current with SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of improving organic search performance.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO tools, including Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
• Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO factors.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
