About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join their marketing team, offering a hybrid working arrangement from their office in Plymouth . This role is dedicated to improving organic search rankings, driving relevant website traffic, and enhancing online visibility. You will be responsible for conducting keyword research, optimizing website content and structure, and implementing both on-page and off-page SEO strategies. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mind, a passion for search engine algorithms, and the ability to work collaboratively within a hybrid team structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for organic growth.
- Optimize website content, meta tags, and structure for search engines (on-page SEO).
- Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies, including link building and digital PR.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) and provide regular reports.
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies and identify areas for competitive advantage.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of improving search rankings.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience with keyword research, on-page optimization, and link-building strategies.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
