About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and proactive SEO Specialist to enhance their online visibility and search engine rankings. This role is based in Plymouth and offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with in-office collaboration. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive SEO strategies, conducting keyword research, optimizing website content, and analyzing search performance. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of current SEO best practices, a data-driven approach, and a passion for driving organic traffic growth. This position is vital for improving our client's search engine presence and attracting relevant audiences to their digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies , both on-page and off-page, to improve organic search rankings.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for content and optimization.
- Optimize website content, meta descriptions, headings, and images for search engines.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush) and provide regular reports.
- Identify and implement technical SEO improvements, such as site speed optimization and schema markup.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest search engine algorithms and SEO trends to ensure best practices are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar search engine optimization role.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, tools, and best practices.
- Proficiency with SEO software such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Ahrefs.
- Experience with website analytics and ability to interpret data to drive SEO strategy.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO aspects, including site audits and performance optimization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
