About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly analytical and data-driven SEO Specialist to join their expanding digital marketing team. This role, based remotely but ideally serving clients in the Sunderland region, will focus on improving our client's organic search rankings and driving qualified traffic to their websites. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth keyword research, technical SEO audits, on-page optimization, and developing strategic link-building initiatives. The successful candidate will be passionate about all things SEO and possess a strong understanding of search engine algorithms and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify new opportunities for organic growth.
- Perform technical SEO audits to identify and resolve website issues impacting search performance.
- Implement on-page optimization strategies, including meta tags, content optimization, and internal linking.
- Develop and execute effective link-building strategies to enhance domain authority.
- Monitor search engine rankings, website traffic, and other SEO KPIs, providing regular performance reports.
- Stay current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices to ensure strategies remain effective.
Requirements
- Proven track record of successfully implementing SEO strategies that drive organic traffic and conversions.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Google Search Console.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO elements, including site speed, mobile-friendliness, and schema markup.
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
