The Role
As a Service Advisor, you'll be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while ensuring the workshop operates efficiently.
- Welcoming customers and discussing their servicing and repair requirements
- Booking vehicles into the workshop and managing repair schedules
- Liaising with technicians throughout the repair process
- Keeping customers updated on vehicle progress and obtaining repair authorisations
- Preparing accurate repair orders and invoices
- Promoting additional products and services where appropriate
- Delivering outstanding customer service from vehicle drop-off through to collection
- Building long-lasting customer relationships to encourage repeat business
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor / Automotive Service Advisor / Aftersales Advisor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- Good IT and administrative skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (preferred)
- Automotive experience is highly desirable, although candidates with strong customer service experience looking to move into the motor trade may also be considered.
