Are you an organised and proactive Scheduler, Planner or Coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment?
We're recruiting for an experienced Scheduler to join a friendly and supportive operations team in Milton Keynes. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in coordinating a team of field-based engineers, ensuring customers receive an efficient and professional service.
You'll be joining a collaborative team environment where no two days are the same, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis following successful completion of probation.
Working Hours
37.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Weekend cover on a rota basis
Hybrid working available (3 days office / 2 days home) after probationThe Role
As Scheduler, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating engineer workloads, ensuring service and installation appointments are completed efficiently and within agreed service levels.
Key duties include:
Scheduling reactive service calls and installation work
Managing engineer diaries across multiple locations
Working closely with Regional Operations Managers to maximise first-time fix rates
Coordinating follow-up visits and outstanding jobs
Monitoring service levels and aged calls
Providing accurate customer updates and estimated arrival times
Liaising with internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Reviewing workloads and making scheduling adjustments where requiredAbout You
We're looking for someone with previous scheduling, planning or workforce coordination experience who enjoys problem-solving and delivering excellent customer service.
You'll have:
Previous experience within a scheduling, planning or coordination role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Good geographical knowledge of the UK
The ability to prioritise workload in a fast-moving environment
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Experience using SAP or similar scheduling/ERP systems
