This role would suit an experienced Scheduler, Service Coordinator, Planner, Helpdesk Coordinator, Resource Planner, or Call Handler looking to progress within a fast-paced operational environment where no two days are the same.
The Opportunity

Working closely with engineers, clients, subcontractors, and internal operational teams, you will be responsible for scheduling work, managing service requests, coordinating planned maintenance activities, and ensuring accurate system updates throughout the job lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Receive, log, and process incoming service requests and remedial works. Schedule engineering resources to ensure maximum productivity and SLA compliance. Prioritise workloads based on urgency, contractual obligations, and customer requirements. Manage client portal activity, updating job statuses and issuing engineer ETA information. Coordinate planned preventative maintenance (PPM) activities to ensure contractual compliance. Monitor open and in-progress jobs, ensuring no works, return visits, or outstanding actions are missed. Arrange follow-up visits and specialist support where required, including two-person attendance jobs. Liaise with engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and customers regarding job progress and requirements. Manage escalation requests and ensure all customer communications are handled promptly. Identify jobs approaching cost or contractual thresholds and escalate accordingly. Maintain accurate records and documentation across internal systems. Ensure proof of delivery (POD) information is recorded and communicated appropriately. Provide support and holiday cover across the wider service coordination team. Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining operational efficiency. Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with ad hoc administrative duties when required.
