Our client is seeking a proactive and technically adept Service Engineer to join their dedicated team in Belfast . This role is crucial for providing essential on-site support, including the installation, servicing, and repair of complex equipment. You will be responsible for ensuring that client systems are functioning optimally, offering expert solutions to technical challenges. The ideal candidate has a strong background in engineering, excellent diagnostic abilities, and a commitment to delivering superior customer service in the installation & maintenance industry across Northern Ireland.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and commission new equipment and systems at client premises.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and preventative servicing to identify and address potential issues.
• Diagnose and resolve technical faults and breakdowns efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Provide expert technical advice and support to customers, fostering positive working relationships.
• Document all service activities, including detailed reports on work performed and parts used.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations during site visits.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Service Engineer or similar field-based technical role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• A valid UK driving license is essential for travel within Belfast and surrounding areas.
• Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeships are preferred.
