About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Service Engineer to join their growing team in Belfast , Northern Ireland. This role is integral to providing exceptional on-site support, ensuring the correct functioning and maintenance of sophisticated systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing equipment, ensuring client satisfaction and operational continuity. This is a hands-on role perfect for an individual who enjoys problem-solving and thrives in a field-based environment, contributing directly to the success of our client's installation and maintenance services across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing, calibration, and repairs on client equipment according to service level agreements.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both mechanical and electrical, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Conduct on-site installations and upgrades as required by project demands.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, ensuring they understand equipment operation.
• Maintain accurate service records, manage spare parts inventory, and report on service activities.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations during site visits and work activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar field service or maintenance role is essential.
• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and electronic principles.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to work autonomously.
• Must hold a valid UK driving license and be willing to travel throughout Northern Ireland for the installation and maintenance work.
