About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join our housing project team focused on groundworks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in setting out for residential construction and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Set out construction sites using surveying equipment (total stations, GPS, etc.).
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with the site team to ensure projects are completed on time.
- Monitor site progress and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct safety inspections and implement risk assessments.
- Communicate effectively with site teams, stakeholders, and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer in groundworks.
- Proficient in using surveying equipment and software.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent).
