Industrial Sewing Machinist

Location: Ledbury Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week Pay: £13.20–£13.50 per hour Pay Frequency: Weekly Contract: Ongoing Temporary

We are seeking skilled Industrial Sewing Machinists to join our client’s manufacturing team in Ledbury.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial sewing machines, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for producing high-quality products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong sewing background to develop their skills within a busy and supportive manufacturing environment.

Experience Required

High level of sewing ability, ideally with industrial materials and products

*

Good knowledge of different fabrics and their properties

Essential Criteria

*

Proven experience as a seamstress/sewing machinist or in a similar role

*

Proficient in sewing techniques and operating industrial sewing machines

*

Excellent attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination

*

Ability to read and follow patterns, measurements and instructions

*

Able to carry out accurate measurements

*

Ability to work quickly and accurately while maintaining high standards

*

Able to identify mistakes, check finished work and correct faults

*

Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines

*

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

*

Confident communicating with customers when required

*

Conscientious, reliable and takes pride in their work
