Class 2 Shunter Driver📍 West Thurrock 💰 £18.00 per hour 🕑 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM 📅 Monday to Friday
Join a Leading Logistics Operation in West Thurrock!We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 Shunter Driver to join a busy and well-established transport operation based in West Thurrock. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver looking for a stable, ongoing afternoon shift with excellent rates of pay.
Duties Include:
Shunting vehicles safely around the yard and site
Moving trailers to loading and unloading bays
Conducting vehicle safety checks
Liaising with warehouse and transport teams
Ensuring all movements are completed efficiently and safely
Adhering to site health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
Previous shunting or yard experience preferred
Good communication skills and a strong safety focus
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude
