Temporary Shunter Driver
Location: Mirfield
Contract: Temporary - 1 week
Start Date: Monday
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm
Rate of Pay: £16.50 per hour
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Shunter Driver to join our team in Mirfield on a temporary basis for one week.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely shunt and manoeuvre vehicles and trailers around the site.
- Position vehicles correctly for loading, unloading and dispatch.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
- Follow all site health and safety procedures.
- Maintain a professional and reliable approach throughout the assignment.
- Assist with general yard duties as required.
Essential Requirements
- Valid C1 driving licence - must be in date.
- Valid Driver CPC qualification/card.
- Previous shunting or yard driving experience.
- Good understanding of vehicle and site safety procedures.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Available to work the full one-week assignment.

- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am - 2:00pm
- 1-week temporary assignment
- £16.50 per hour
- Based in Mirfield
