Job Description
Job Role: Sign Fabricator / Sign Maker
Location: Leicester, East Midlands
Salary: DOE
Company: A well-established leading signage and display company.
Role: Our client is on the lookout for an experienced Sign Fabricator.
Being an integral member of the team in our fabrication department, you will be required to TIG/MIG weld aluminium, steel, and stainless steel, and fabricate various types and sizes of steelwork including the general fabrication of various sign types.
* Experience in welding techniques including TIG/ MIG on various materials
* Assemble signage such as tray signs, built up letters
* Operate letter bending machine
* Ability to read and understand manufacturing drawings
* Maintain a high level of quality
* Manage workflow
* Qualification in sheet metal/fabrication
* To follow all Health and Safety guidelines and rules, ensuring correct PPE is worn at all times and replaced when necessary
* Follow company policy and procedures within your department, reporting any non-conformance to management.
* Attend any training and develop relevant knowledge and skills
Requirements:
* Experience within MIG / TIG welding
* Demonstrate skills within a fabrication department
* Vast knowledge of working within the aluminium / sheet metal fabrication industry
* Signage experience preferable but not essential
* Positive attitude
* Self-driven, results oriented with a positive outlook
* Ability to work in a team
* To have a flexible approach is essential (some additional hours may be required to fulfil the requirements to ensure deadlines are met).
* Have an ability to work under pressure.
* Be a motivational team player, having the ability to use initiative and possess a positive attitude.
