Location: Selborne, Hampshire
Contract Type: Freelance, IR35 determination TBC
Duration: Until April 2027 (6 months) with possible extension#
Pay rate: £350-£425 (IR35 TBC)
Job Description:
TRIbuild Solutions are recruiting an experienced Site Engineer for a civils-focused role on a water/stage treatment site in Selborne, Hampshire. The scope of works is predominantly trenching, gullies, pits and the construction of small reinforced concrete (RC) structures.
This is a freelance opportunity running until April 2027, offering long-term stability on a live civils scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting out and level control for trenching and drainage works
- Overseeing installation of small RC structures, including formwork, reinforcement checks, and pours
- Ensuring works are constructed in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Liaising with the site team on progress, quality, and health & safety compliance
- Maintaining accurate site records, as-built information, and quality documentation
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civils/utilities schemes
- Strong setting-out and surveying skills (Leica Total station and GPS)
- Experience with trenching, RC structures, and general groundworks
- Relevant CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
