About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Site Engineer to join their construction team in Liverpool . This role is essential for ensuring that construction projects are executed to the required specifications, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, and managing a specific part of the construction site, ensuring technical accuracy and quality control. This is an excellent entry-level or mid-career opportunity for an engineer eager to gain hands-on experience and progress within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Set out, establish, and manage control points for construction works.
• Perform survey work and ensure accurate measurement of work undertaken.
• Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures on site.
• Manage temporary works and ensure they are designed, installed, and inspected appropriately.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and manage site resources effectively.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Site Engineer or Graduate Engineer on construction sites.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and setting out techniques .
• Understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Good knowledge of health and safety practices on site.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
