About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join their thriving construction project in Coventry . You will be responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of a project on site, ensuring that construction work is carried out to specifications, on time, and within budget. This role demands a strong understanding of engineering principles and excellent problem-solving abilities. As a key member of the site team, you will contribute to the successful delivery of complex projects, working closely with site managers, surveyors, and subcontractors. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and engineering standards.
- Conduct quality control checks and ensure all work is completed to the highest standards.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings, providing guidance to site personnel.
- Plan and schedule engineering tasks, coordinating with the project management team.
- Identify and resolve technical issues that arise on site, ensuring minimal disruption.
- Maintain site records, including progress reports, safety logs, and material requisitions.
Requirements
- Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar role on construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering , structural principles, and construction methods.
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and CAD software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
