Site Engineer – Rc Frame | London
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team on an RC Frame construction project for a sub contractor in London.
Position: Site Engineer Location: London Sector: RC Frame / Reinforced Concrete Start Date: October Duration: Long-term / Project-based
Key Responsibilities
- Setting out and surveying for RC Frame works
- Ensuring works are constructed accurately in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Checking levels, dimensions, line and position
- Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings
- Carrying out quality control and inspections
- Producing and maintaining site records
- Liaising with subcontractors, site management, and the wider project team
- Monitoring progress and ensuring works are delivered to programme
- Supporting technical queries and resolving site issues
- Ensuring all works comply with relevant specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Engineer on RC Frame projects
- Strong setting-out experience
- Proficient with Total Station / GPS / surveying equipment
- Ability to read and understand construction and structural drawings
- Good knowledge of reinforced concrete, formwork and reinforcement
- Relevant engineering qualification preferred
- CSCS card required
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a site team
