Site Engineer – Middlesbrough Location: Middlesbrough, Teesside
Rate: £350 per day CIS
Duration: 12 months
Type: Long-term contract
We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major construction project in Middlesbrough on a long-term 12-month contract.
Role & Responsibilities
Setting out and surveying works on site.
Checking levels, dimensions and alignment.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Carrying out quality inspections and maintaining QA records.
Producing as-built information and site documentation.
Liaising with the Site Manager, Project Manager and subcontractors.
Identifying and resolving technical issues on site.
Ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately and in accordance with project specifications.
Supporting the wider site team with engineering and technical requirements. Requirements
Previous experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering/construction projects.
Strong setting-out experience.
Competent with surveying equipment such as Leica, Trimble or similar.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Good understanding of QA, ITPs and as-built documentation.
Relevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) preferred.
Valid CSCS card.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Right to work in the UK
