Job Description
SITE ENGINEER – CIVILS
Location: Luton
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Until approximately March/April
Project: Industrial Multi-Shed Development
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join an established industrial multi-shed development in Luton, replacing an existing engineer who is leaving the project.
The successful candidate will have a strong civils background and proven experience working for a main contractor on large-scale construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing engineering support across the project.
* Setting out and overseeing civils and external works.
* Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions.
* Working from construction drawings and specifications.
* Liaising with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team.
* Monitoring quality and progress of works.
* Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site.
* Maintaining accurate site records and relevant engineering documentation.
* Supporting the delivery of the project safely, accurately and to programme.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Engineer.
* Strong civil engineering background.
* Previous main contractor experience essential.
* Experience on industrial, warehouse or multi-shed developments would be advantageous.
* Strong setting-out and surveying skills.
* Ability to read and interpret construction and engineering drawings.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Relevant engineering qualifications and CSCS card.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major industrial development in Luton.
