Site Engineer – Groundworks
Pay depending on experience
We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a busy groundworks contractor working across the North West.
The role will suit someone with a strong background in residential housing developments, particularly with roads, sewers and general infrastructure works.
The role:
* Setting out groundworks and infrastructure works
* Roads, sewers, drainage and associated infrastructure
* Working from drawings and specifications
* Checking levels, coordinates and line/level
* Supporting the Site Manager and wider site team
* Carrying out QA checks and keeping accurate records
* Working closely with subcontractors and groundworks teams
Looking for:
* Previous Site Engineering experience within the housing sector – essential
* Strong experience with roads, sewers and drainage
* Confident setting out using surveying equipment
* Able to read and understand construction drawings
* Good understanding of groundworks and residential development
* CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications
