Site Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major public realm scheme in Leeds, starting tomorrow.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying for civil engineering and public realm works

• Working closely with Site Managers and the wider engineering team

• Checking levels, dimensions and coordinates

• Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings and specifications

• Maintaining accurate site records and quality documentation

• Supporting quality control and ensuring works meet required standards

• Liaising with subcontractors and site teams

• Identifying and resolving technical issues on site

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering/public realm projects

• Strong setting out and surveying experience

• Competent with relevant surveying equipment

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

• CSCS qualification

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Previous experience on highways, infrastructure, streetscape or public realm schemes would be highly advantageous

Package

• £300–£380 per shift, depending on experience

• Immediate start – tomorrow

• 3-month contract

• Major public realm scheme in Leeds

• Long-term opportunities may be available for the right candidate
