About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated Site Engineer to contribute to their projects in the Plymouth region. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth execution of construction activities on-site, focusing on technical aspects, quality control, and adherence to project plans and specifications. You will work closely with the Site Manager and construction teams, providing technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage the engineering aspects of construction projects on site.
• Ensure that all construction activities are carried out according to design, specifications, and quality standards .
• Conduct surveys and set out sites as required.
• Manage and supervise construction teams and subcontractors effectively.
• Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and propose solutions.
• Maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in a Site Engineer role or similar on construction sites.
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and engineering software .
• Strong understanding of construction methods and health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
