Site Engineer

About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and technically adept Site Engineer to join their construction team in Liverpool . You will be responsible for ensuring that construction work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and health and safety standards. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work effectively on-site. You will liaise with the site manager, subcontractors, and designers to ensure smooth project progression and maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the build.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage engineering aspects of construction projects on-site.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
• Set out sites and control levels and measurements for works being carried out.
• Monitor progress and report any deviations from the plan to the site manager.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain accurate site records and documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a Site Engineer or Junior Engineer on construction projects.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
• Knowledge of surveying equipment and techniques.
• Understanding of health and safety regulations in the construction industry.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a site team.
