About the Role

Our client is seeking a diligent and capable Site Engineer to join their growing team in Brighton . You will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are executed according to design specifications, plans, and safety regulations. This hands-on role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively on a busy construction site. You will play a vital part in the successful delivery of a variety of building and civil engineering projects, contributing to a company known for its quality workmanship and commitment to site safety. Key Responsibilities

• Set out sites and carry out setting out procedures accurately.
• Undertake quality control and assurance checks on materials and workmanship.
• Interpret construction drawings and ensure work is carried out to specification.
• Assist with site supervision, managing small teams or trades as directed.
• Monitor health and safety on site, reporting any hazards or breaches.
• Maintain site records, including daily logs and measurement sheets.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in a site engineering or similar role on construction projects .
• Proficiency in using surveying equipment and interpreting technical drawings.
• Good understanding of construction methods and health & safety best practices.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with site teams.
