Site Engineer

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Site Engineer to support a major landscaping package on the HS2 project in Northamptonshire.

The Role

As Site Engineer, you will be responsible for setting out and surveying works associated with a landscaping package, ensuring all activities are delivered safely, accurately, and in line with programme requirements. Candidates must be able to work independently and provide their own surveying equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Setting out landscaping works including earthworks, topsoiling, drainage elements, fencing, planting and associated infrastructure.

Producing and maintaining accurate site records.

Carrying out surveys and quality checks throughout the construction process.

Preparing as-built information and supporting handover documentation.

Working closely with site management and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to programme.

Ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards and health & safety requirements.

Managing QA documentation and assisting with inspections where required.

Requirements

Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering, infrastructure or landscaping schemes.

Experience of setting out and surveying landscaping, environmental or earthworks packages.

Competent in maintaining quality records and producing as-built information.

Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced construction environment.

Valid CSCS card.

Full UK driving licence.

Own survey kit is essential (GPS and/or Total Station)
