Site Installation Coordinator - Construction

About the Role

Our client is seeking an organized and proactive Site Installation Coordinator to oversee and manage installation projects within the construction sector in Sheffield, South Yorkshire . This role requires ensuring that installations of various building components and systems are executed efficiently, on time, and to specification. You will liaise between site teams, engineers, and management, coordinating resources and resolving logistical challenges. This hybrid role involves significant time on-site managing operations, coupled with time for planning and administrative tasks, making it a dynamic position within Installation & Maintenance .

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise on-site installation activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Liaise with site supervisors, tradespeople, and external suppliers to manage workflow and resource allocation.
• Ensure all installation work complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor progress, identify potential delays or issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, progress logs, and material requisitions.
• Facilitate effective communication between all stakeholders involved in the installation process.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a project coordination or site management role, preferably within construction or installation projects.
• Strong understanding of installation processes and building site operations.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities to manage diverse teams.
