About the Role
Our client is seeking a qualified and hands-on Site Installation Engineer to join their dynamic team operating out of Bradford, West Yorkshire . This position is vital for the successful deployment and setup of specialized systems at various client locations. You will be responsible for ensuring that installations are completed to the highest standards, meeting technical specifications and customer requirements. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, practical skills, and excellent customer interaction, making it an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about the Installation & Maintenance sector looking for a challenging and rewarding on-site role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and execute the installation of new equipment and systems at customer sites.
- Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning to ensure all installations function correctly.
- Diagnose and rectify any installation-related faults or issues encountered on-site.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure smooth project execution and adherence to schedules.
- Provide technical guidance and basic training to end-users on installed systems.
- Maintain detailed installation logs and ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date for the Bradford area.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an installation or site engineering role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems relevant to installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings , schematics, and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective client liaison.
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel within West Yorkshire and beyond.
